			Prince of Wales Island offers some of the most abundant stream and ocean fishing in Alaska. Prince of Wales Island streams feature a variety of trout, steelhead, and five species of Salmon that give the angler true seasonal entertainment. Experience ocean fishing at it's best: Kings, Coho, Pinks, Sockeye and Chums as well as Lingcod, Halibut and Rock Cod. Charter a captain (see below) and discover favorite fishing holes or rent a skiff or boat and explore on your own. Fly-fish too!! It will be an experience you won't soon forget! Cabins in Alaska provides a comfortable base camp for your fishing vacation experience. You'll have a great place to stay - but you arrange your own transportation and ocean or river charter with the local professionals according to your schedule.

Generally, ocean and stream charters are $150 to $250 per person per day, with a two person minimum. Sometimes fishing parties are combined into one trip to make a "full boat", so if you want to be "exclusive" they might charge more. Prices can vary, though, according to the season and the booking schedule of the charter. You must make your charter reservations well in advance of your trip!
